The Mystic River Chorale is proud to be celebrating its 25th anniversary! We’ll mark this milestone with a gala concert, Mystic Moorings, at 8 PM on Saturday, May 16th at St. Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church in Groton. This event will feature a smorgasbord of music from the past quarter-century under the leadership of current Artistic Director Frank Martignetti as well as previous Artistic Directors Joan Cook and Michele Holt, and previous interim conductors Kathleen Bartkowski and Stephen Bruce.

The Mystic River Chorale Celebrates
Our 25th Season!
The Mystic River Chorale is an auditioned chorus of amateur singers founded in 1984 who perform a wide variety of classical and classic choral works. The Chorale has an established reputation as one of Southeastern Connecticut's most respected choral groups. In addition to its own concerts, the Chorale has also performed with the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra and Chorus and has sung backup for Paul Anka and Rosemary Clooney. The Chorale has traveled and performed in Europe, New Orleans, and New York, and is proud to be entering its second quarter-century serving the community with beautiful music under the leadership of its fourth Artistic Director, Frank Martignetti.

Season Highlights
For our 25th season the Chorale will be singing a wide variety of exciting music. For our Winter Concert we will again be returning to Harkness Chapel, where our program will showcase the sounds of choir and organ as we present Morten Lauridsen's beautiful Lux Aeterna, and works for choir, brass, and organ including Daniel Pinkham's Christmas Cantata We are honored to have once again been invited to join with the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, in performing Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana. Last but not least, our 25th Anniversary Gala will feature a stunning retrospective of 25 years of great choral music.
